Christine Oberhausen is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Delaware in the Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering. Before pursuing a Ph.D., Christine obtained a B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Yale University. As part of the CPI EFRC, her research focuses on developing methods for the chemical deconstruction of multilayer plastic packaging. By implementing a combination of catalyst design and reaction engineering, Christine studies how polymer-catalyst interactions influence the activity and selectivity of these chemical deconstruction processes. Outside of the lab, she enjoys playing soccer, running, and trying new recipes. ORCID ID #0000-0001-8074-5915.
